This page writing and craft activity is perfect to use during a study of habitats. Students will use what they've learned in lessons about the rainforest habitat and its layers.
This unit includes:
*A mini-lesson suggestion
*A complete anchor chart
*A blank anchor chart (this could also be used for student entries)
*An reading and inference activity wherein the students use what they know about the rainforest and clues in what they read to complete a mini-book.
*2 different sized quality monkey craft blacklines (not hand drawn) that are ready to copy onto corresponding construction paper - to make prep work easy.
The unit is aligned with common core.
Hanging Around the Rainforest is part of the "Happening Habitats" pack.
