PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Even though Hans Brinker is a book written 150 years ago, it still teaches us good moral values. This study guide emphasises the areas of comprehension, vocabulary, and writing. The skills of recalling facts, drawing conclusions, making inference, sequencing, and cause and effect are addressed. The writing assignments: determining main ideas and drawing a comic strip, writing a diary entry, writing a personal narrative, writing a news story, and writing conversation, are challenging and enjoyable. I must warn you that the book for which I did this study guide has only 21 chapters rather than 48. It is an abbreviated version of the story If you have a book with more chapters, then this study guide will not fit your needs. On  February 24, 2014Natalie Wilds (TpT Seller) said:
The questions for each chapter do not line up with the chapter reading. The question sheet for chapter 1, students did not find the answers to some of them until reading the 2nd and 3rd chapters. The book has 48 chapters, your unit study has only 21. I had to review all the questions and adjust the titles on the worksheets to go with the chapters we read. For Instance Chapters 1-3 in the book, answers questions on Chapter 1 worksheet, Chapters 4-7 answers the questions on worksheet for Chapter 2. It caused a lot of confusion. Please help clarify this.

I can see why this has happened. I obviously used an edition different than the one you used. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of the book because I had to return it to the teacher who requested that I develop it for her class. The edition I used had only 21 chapters and did not contain many of the descriptions and details that yours must have contained. If you look through the questions for Chapter 21, you will see that they refer to information at the end of the book. I'm sorry this happened. Hopefully, you will readjust your rating. Thank you.
