Make your students feel special on their birthday by giving them a keepsake from their classmates! This is one of my favorite activities to do with my students. My school has a birthday policy so instead of having a birthday party for a student, why not do something fun and academic to celebrate? Your class will create a book for the birthday boy or girl. Bind the book together and send it home as a gift for your student.
What's included:
* Explanation of project and how I use it in my room
* Birthday Book Cover Page
* 5 different writing pages for the book
* Birthday Card from Teacher

I actually used this to have students fill out for one of my co-worker's birthday. She absolutely loved it and kids enjoyed being able to be part of her birthday.
my students loved to write about each other and to receive the book. Some students are impatient for their birthdays so that they can get their books.

I have made birthday books with my first graders for years but mine did not look this good! Love the Colorful graphics and the variety of pages to choose from! Excellent!

I teach first grade in a small district in Southern California. I am in my 7th year of teaching, and all have been in 1st grade! I absolutely love teaching first graders and look forward to many more years in this grade level!
