This activity can be used for many purposes! Use it for small group instruction, RTI, morning work, homework, etc!
There are 2 activity mats for each letter:
-Students cover the focus letter (pictured in the left-hand corner of each mat) throughout the grid. If you don’t have clear, plastic chips, slip the activity mat into a plastic sleeve and let students use dry-erase markers to highlight the letters.
-This activity sheet can be used as a follow-up to the activity mat or can be used independently. Students use a highlighter to find the focus letter throughout the grid. Then, they practice writing the focus letter in upper- and lower-case.

I love what you have done with this packet. I was able to download it but was unable to print. I updated my adobe but that did not solve the problem. I was able to print another download from this site. I tried yesterday and today but nothing. Any suggestions?

I downloaded this and so excited to use it with my RTI groups. I have a problem with the font. I have a Mac, and most all of the letters show up but there are a few that are blurred. Can you tell me the name of the fonts that you used????

This is such an easy fix! It sounds like you're viewing the document in "preview" in Adobe. Make sure that isn't the case and be sure you've actually downloaded/saved the document :)

I was only able to print up to page 21, which seems to be what a few other users are having problems with. I do have a Mac, and have the latest version of Adobe. I do love what I was able to print though.

I'm so sorry! I have no idea what the printer issue is, but several thousand people have downloaded it successfully, so I don't think it's an issue with the file :( One solution is to make sure you're downloading/saving it and not opening it in Adobe preview. Let me know if that works!!!

Hmmmmm, I have no idea!!!! I wish I could help, but I'm not sure!!!! Are you making sure to save/open it, and not viewing it in "preview" in Adobe? This is a common error, and may help you fix this issue. Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help :)

The most common cause of this error is mistakenly opening and printing from "preview" in Adobe. Here's what typically works for most customers:

If doing that doesn't work, try these options: - If you're a Mac user, switch browsers (i.e. if you're currently opening in Firefox, try opening in Internet Explorer or Safari) - Make sure you check Adobe under "open with" to verify that that Adobe is the program you're using to open the document and not "preview" - Try opening the document from an entirely different computer (open directly from TpT) Please let me know if any of these option help and, if they don't, you'll have to contact TpT for a refund (sellers don't handle anything money-related). I love this Abby! I have a really really low 2nd grader who recongnizes maybe 1/2 the alphabet (on a good day). The one thing that is making me hesitate to use it though is the use the 'a's' that look like as I just typed. I hope this makes sense. I love all the fancy fonts but I would prefer it if the lower case 'a's' were as we teach it in printing. All the other letters look great.

Since this the focus of this activity is letter identification, I thought it was important for students to be able to recognize As in various fonts, including those that look like 'a' since so many texts the students read include this type of 'a' :)

Hmmmm, no security feature! Have you tried to print it on a different printer/network? Just as a precaution, make sure you're not trying to print from "preview" in Adobe. Keep me posted!
