This could be easily adapted to any country. In this activity students will work in groups up to four, and focus on ONE DECADE IN CANADIAN HISTORY covered during the course. The group will be responsible for developing a collection of primary and secondary documents and artifacts that will depict significant issues, events, figures, forces, and values that reflect the Canadian Identity of the decade they have selected. Working within their groups, students will select the key events and happenings that capture the feelings and images of the "defining moments" from their specific time period. Students will then research them further, and produce a presentation and a report.
