I have been a home school mother for 9 years and teaching classes to home school students at co-ops and home school academies for 8 years. I currently am the director and history teacher for one of Jill Dixon’s Eclectic Academy of Learning campuses. I used all of these activities in my older student (8th-12th) and younger student (4th-7th) classes at our weekly class. One of our primary goals is filtering the best of esteemed educational philosophies (classical, Charlotte Mason, & core knowledge) through learning styles. It is always a challenge to engage each student but these types of activities have been proven ‘in the field’. I hope you enjoy these activities as much as I know your students will.
