RF.1.3g: Recognize and Read grade-appropriate irregularly spelled words.
RF.2.3f: Recognize and read grade-appropriate irregularly spelled words.
This is a fun sight word activity tiered so that you can meet your students right at their readiness level. Students use magnifying glasses to find the hidden Dolch words in each picture. When they have found 20 unduplicated words, they read them to a friend or their teacher. Sometimes my students like to race to see who can find them all first and read them correctly. As your students’ word recognition changes, so can you adjust the level of sight words they search for in each picture.

Hi! First of all I love your website and materials. I purchased this file and the holiday I spy with the snowman. Unfortunately after printing them in color, the words were still too small to read with my magnifying glasses. Is there anyway to enlarge the font at least 1 more size up. Of coarse the principal came thru today and saw the kids trying to read the words and they couldn't even with their magnifyiers!!!! Thanks
