Students take a "Trip Around the World" in this culture-based classroom project. They research the geography, history, holidays, flag and landforms individually, while creating a presentation (that includes food) as a group. I like to assign this 2 weeks prior to our holiday break, allowing students to learn about other holidays celebrated around the world.
