Art History Hollywood Squares 40 Slide Game Pre-Raphaelite Romance. The artists include: Blake, Burne, Cardogan-Cowper, Chasseriau, Collinson, Dahl, Delacroix, Friedrich, Gericault, Goya, Holman Hunt, Hughes, Millais, Palmer, Rossetti, Sadys, Turner, Waterhouse. Please download the 6 piece preview to get the best idea of what the slides are like. The students select the picture (square). It takes them to a collage of that artist's work. Everyone takes a look at the collage. The student then gives the name of the artist and the info about that artist and then you go back to the square selection slide (home). You can use the game in different ways as well to get second uses and so forth. For example, you can send your students on an online scavenger hunt to find the actual paintings in each collage. You could even break them into teams, giving one artist to each team. Another example, have each team pick another artist for this movement and then make them put together two slides regarding that artist just like you see in my slide show. You can post the slide show online so the students have easy access to it for use during these other activities.

a teacher my whole adult life, especially at the community college level in legal and property related topics. I am primarily a self taught artist, with my work exhibited in museums and galleries. It has sold internationally. I began adding my art work into my teaching as time went on, even handing it out as rewards for students who did well. I also used it extensively in my presentations. My students range at the community college included people who barely had high school skills to those who already had their degrees. Thus, I include both higher education and the lower grades in most of my materials. Straight out of college, I did teach fifth grade language arts for two years but well. In recent years I have moved into continuing education as well.
