The back of the workbook reads: "The activities and exercises in this program target the reading skills specific to the comprehension of science texts. Students learn to analyze text structures, recognize patterns, and organize information in ways that help them construct meaning. The activities are flexible enough to be completed by students individually, or you can use the overhead transparencies in this book to teach analysis skills to a large group of students."
The workbook has 185 pages of activities. The teacher's edition contains all answers. The teacher's edition also includes a set of 50 transparencies that can be used to teach these skills to the entire class.
