There are very few days year that are set aside to Honor the men and women who serve and protect our country. The activites in this packet will aid your class in actitivies and disccusions about America's Heroes. We have created the activities in this packet so that they can be used for Septemeber 11, Veterans Day and Memorial Day. If you don't get to them all at one time, you can save them for a different date! Our Honoring American Heroes packet includes:
1. Tree webs and traditional webs for brainstorming ideas about heroes, veterans, and soliders
2. Follow up the webs by using one of our many writing papers!
3. Templates for Thank you Card to Veterans or soldiers are also included.
4. Students will have fun coloring the American Flag using one of the three Flag Color by number worksheets.
5. Patriotic patterning
6. Hero/Veteran attribute cards.
7. Veterans Day Poem
8. Veterans Day True/False Game
9. War Card Game (Game of Compare)
*We have updated this packet to include new activites for Memorial Day. Memorial Day Activites include:
1. Memorial Day Poem
