This Valentines Day themed small group or independent activity will reinforce the understanding of -ip and -it word families. Students will read a word on a cupcake and decide which word family it belongs to. They will then place it on the correct owl sorting mat. There are blank cupcakes and mats included so you can make it work for you!!

The graphics are adorable and the game looks fun for the kids! I like how you added a blank page so we could add our own. Though, it might be nice to have a few more word family mats already done in the cute fonts. Well done!
