This mini thematic unit is based on the picture book Hooray for Inventors. The activities are varied and include a comic strip to complete (preview), a Venn diagram comparing 3 inventors, a rap music activity, and a list of journal/discussion topics as well as other activities. Your students will have a lot of fun with this unit while learning too.

I have taught for 36 years at the 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade levels. Fifth grade is my first love. I teach all major subject areas.
