This is a frog themed packet that can be used as a station or with a small group. The packet contains a contractions matching game where students must match the contractions with the words that form them. This packet also contains a contractions board game. For this game, students must read a word card before moving their game marker. You will need a dice or number cube for this game. Additionally, there is a word sort using contractions. I have also included bonus material, such as, a reward certificate, blank frog tags, blank cards to create your own, and a bookmark that can be copied for students to color and cut out. I have been teaching for 8 years. My first year I spent teaching first grade. Then I went to a a different school and taught kindergarten for 4 years and 4th grade for a year. Last year, I taught 2nd grade and I decided to go back to kindergarten this year. Let's just say I really love teaching kindergarten! For five years, I taught at a Reading First School and received intense training in reading instructional strategies. I have a masters in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.
