If you ever hear your students say, "I don't know what to write about today," this resource can help them generate possible topics. I present this as a minilesson during writing workshop and then give the students a copy to keep in their writing notebooks "in case of a writing emergency." If you have enough wall space in your classroom, you may even want to enlarge this document to poster-size and display it for the children to see when writing.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
