How Does Your Garden Grow? With inches and centimeters, of course!
This activity allows children to have practical experience with linear measurement. Children will cut and paste flower stems (from construction paper) to the given lengths and place them to the garden. They will then measure the same stems in centimeters and record the lengths. Once the garden stems are completed, children use their creative side to draw the flower blooms at the top of each one.
Just another exciting activity, created by Terry Palmieri!
