This activity allows students to figure out the cost of a variety of sentences by giving each part of speech a money value. Students can use their grammar and math skills to figure out the cost of each sentence. There is also an opportunity for students to write their own sentences for specific costs listed. Finally students are challenged to write the most expensive and least expensive sentence using the money values given. This is a great challenge activity!
