At least one answer was incorrect - noted in my initial reading of a couple of the tests (test 1, q 3 - Tom and Huck get the interest from $6000 - they don't get $6000 in total each year as the answer to question implies).
Question 4 on the same test - what is the question? This is too vaguely expressed but I suppose that it asks for the name of the character. I trust that the remainder of this package is not similarly flawed.

Hi, Emd203(c) Thanks for taking the time to send the note. Sorry for problem. I pondered exactly how to answer that, wondering which way one might read it - $6,000.00. I'll have to go back and reassess the question. Also many time the questions are not true questions as such, but students are required to think about how the statement would be completed. It's a bit awkward as a sentence, but this is a test after all and I try to get students to analyze what they are reading.

This was a waste of money. The tests consist of only ten questions and each test contains questions from the previous tests. Also word searches, which are the only activities other then chapter questions, at the high school level have no educational value.

Help
I taught English (grades 9 - 12) for 36 years in public schools. I have also taught basic computer courses for adults as part of our schools senior evening school program. In addition I was advisor to Student Government and election programs at our school and have been involved with establishing technology goals for our secondary school system.
