'Puisse le sort...etc." does not make sense in French. You need the 'que' to bring the subjunctive sense of 'may' (which is not a separate verb in this case).
BETTER OPTIONS: "QUE LA CHANCE SOIT AVEC VOUS"/"QUE VOUS AYEZ TOUTES LES CHANCES DE REUSSIR"
Thanks for your comment. I actually didn't do this translation myself. It came from both the French Hunger Games site:http://www.hunger-games.fr/ and also from the published translation of the book. If you look up the French version on Amazon you can read the first chapter, where Katniss and Gale are talking about the Games. But this would be a great point to discuss with more advanced students who are learning the subjunctive!
