This is a caterpillar/butterfly themed game which includes ten frames and recording sheets designed to help students subitize the number bonds for the number 1-10. Included are two sizes of the ten frames, number cards for playing at a more abstract level, and optional recording sheets. The recording sheets come in several versions: 1)Those with the mathematical "plus" sign, 2)Those without the sign, using the word "and" in place of the symbol, 3)Recording sheets for number bonds to "10", and 4) "Blank" recording sheets to work on number bonds for numbers other than 10.

There is also a ten frames recording sheet for recording number bonds at a more concrete level.

I come from a family of educators and am married to an educator. You could say I was born to be a teacher. Also, I am the very proud mother of four "children", ages 18-24, and my husband and I will become empty-nesters in another month. Yikes! I consider myself to be a life-long learner and my varied teaching experiences are proof of that! I have been teaching for 27 years, teaching grades 3, 4, & 5 self-contained, Gifted grades 1-6, was a Technology Specialist/Integrated Technology teacher for grades 1-6, and was a Teacher Technology Integrator at the district. Four years ago my principal asked me to go from fifth grade to teach kindergarten since I had Early Childhood Certification. It was one of the greatest moves I've ever made! I LOVE my little ones!
