Get every student in your class fully engaged to review for testing, at the end of your electricity and magnets unit, or any time that you need a fun science activity. It's a great hands-on activity for a sub day or a day when your schedule is out of whack. This is an "I Have...Who Has" game for a class ranging from 15 to 32 students. This game is a mixed review of electricity and magnetism (see full list below).
To play "I Have...Who Has" the teacher prints one page of cards and cuts them apart. The cards are mixed up and distributed, one per student. The student with the card marked "START" reads out the "Who has" statement on his or her card. Students must listen to hear when their own "I have" statement matches the "Who has" statement that has been called. For instance, "Who has an example of a conductor?" - "I have copper."
Terms and concepts included in the full 32-card set: electromagnets, poles of a magnet, insulator, conductor, resistor, static and current electricity, parts of a simple circuit, open and closed circuits, lightning, positive and negative charges, parallel and series circuits, magnetic field, switch, types of energy, attracting/repelling poles, electrical safety (lightning rods, circuit breakers), path of least resistance, compass, magnetic materials, discharge. Several of the terms include both definitions and examples.
The full product is 21 pages: a cover page, a directions/contents page, a copyright statement, and 18 pages of card sets. I have already adjusted the game for you to play with anywhere from 15 to 32 students without having to adapt or double up on the cards. Just print the page that contains the number of cards for your class. If you have more than 32 students, God bless you! TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a public school teacher in a highly respected district in the Atlanta metro area for the past 12 years. I have taught very diverse students, usually all together in one group! After teaching fourth grade for ten years, I am now teaching a computer lab special to 3 and 4 year olds, and loving it! I am also the technology coordinator for my public, special needs school. You never know what changes life will bring!
