"I Have..., Who has...?" - Money Game (Easier)

Simply print & cut out cards. (Laminate for durability). Pass out one or more cards to students. Student who has "Start Card" (with smiley face for beginning readers) starts the game by reading his/her "Who Has...?" card. Play continues as students read their cards with the correct answer and then ask another "Who Has...?" question.

Game keeps all students engaged, as they must listen & count the cards on their own card to figure out if they have the answer.

FUN way to practice money skills!!

There are 21 cards in this set. If you have a smaller group of students, you can give more than one card to some of your students who could use more challenge/engagement. If you have a larger group, I suggest dividing them into two groups and using two sets of cards to play the game. :)

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

For the last four years, I worked with the Appleton Area School District's Newcomers Program. I taught 1st through 6th grader students that were new to the distract, state, & country. They had a basic level of English and we taught them as homeroom teachers. Many of the activities I designed were to implement the curriculum in a hands-on way that would be memorable to my English Language Leaners. I completed my student teaching in an urban setting with 4th graders & 6th grade bilingual (English/Spanish) students. Relevant Experiences: *Volunteered with 10-21 year old girls in San Jose, Costa Rica. *Site Leader for YMCA After-School Program *Teach craft classes to children & adults *Teach technology staff development classes for district & teaching conferences. *Teach English/Language Arts conferences for district & teaching conferences.
