This "I Have...Who Has?" set includes cards for practicing 2-digit place value (tens and ones).

Once you have played this game whole-group, you can add it to your math centers for children to play independently. If played in small groups at center time, one child (dealer) distributes the cards evenly among the children in the group and play proceeds as normal.

If needed, a more supportive variation of this game is "We Have... Who Has?" Instead of each student playing individually, consider pairing students who are proficient with place value concepts with students who are still learning. Because the students are in pairs, they get to take a turn more often and it's a great way for stronger students to coach their peers.

How many game pieces are there? I have a class of 25. Is there enough for each student?

Hi Kristin,

Unfortunately, there are only 24 cards. We have class sizes of 18-20, so I thought 24 would provide a few "extras," if needed, but it sounds like your class is a little bigger than that. I'm sorry this one doesn't have enough for you (but now I think I need to modify it).

Have a great weekend! :)
