This I Have, Who Has...Segmenting and Blending CVC words game set reviews all consonant sounds (except q) and all short vowels sounds. Each card will ask the reader to blend the first word, and segment the next.
This set has 30 student cards and can be used as a daily, whole-class warm-up to your reading time, a ticket out the door, or as an intervention activity with a small group (each student would receive more than one card in this instance). It includes:

1 "Stop" sound poster

Yes, it does take practice to develop a kind of "fluency" with this type of activity. I hope you will keep at it, as I believe this activity can be very powerful for beginning readers.

I am so glad you enjoyed this game, and appreciate you taking the time to leave honest feedback. I was shocked to see my first rating on this download that was not a 4.0. But, when I looked back at this file, I realized that it was one of the first products I uploaded almost 10 months ago. I agree with you completely that it needed an update. I have since gone back and edited this file to include the teacher instructions, and teaching tips, that are included in all of my newer "I Have, Who Has" game sets. Thank you so much for pointing this out, and helping me improve my products. :)

I work with hearing impaired children who struggle with phonics. I use Wilson Fundations. This game fits perfectly with my curriculum, and the students have to use their auditory skills to hear what their classmates are saying! Love i.t
