I have... Who has...? provides students an interactive opportunity to build fluency (automaticity and accuracy) in a particular skill or concept.
This chain-reaction activity may be done with the whole class or in a smaller group.

Purpose
ï‚§ Provides students an interactive opportunity to practice skills or vocabulary learned.
ï‚§ Facilitates growth of fluency (automaticity and accuracy.)
Instructions
ï‚§ Distribute all cards in set. If there are more cards than students, teacher may play with remaining cards, or students may play with more than one card each.
ï‚§ Play may begin with any card. First person begins by reading the "Who has..." portion of their card.
ï‚§ Student with correct "I have..." response reads their card (both parts,) "I have...Who has...?"
ï‚§ Chain continues until all cards have been read. Last person to read "I have..." should be the person who first started the chain.
*Optional: Challenge the students by timing them for a round. See if they can beat their time when they next play.
*Teachers may wish to have students turn their card(s) over/sit down/etc. once they've read their card(s), as a means of keeping track of the progression of the game.
