Working with those pesky vowel sounds? Try using a song to help your students remember them along with some phonics marching practice too! Show it on your Smart Board or interactive whiteboard and use the teaching points page to reinforce the vowels in words. Call on students to circle the vowels and then read the word.
This is a .mov file that can be opened with Quick Time on your computer. You no longer have to worry about syncing a power point with the song and setting the timing. It is ready to use on your students' computers or interactive whiteboard. You can use it with your Smart Board and pause during the slides to highlight words, letters, or strategies. I get put at the end of the hallway in the hotel when I present at conferences too:-) But I would rather us be loud and learning and letting a little steam off along with some energy too. Does this file work with an Eno board? It is similar to the Smartboard--it is an interactive whiteboard, but it does not use the Smartboard software. Also, does it cover long vowel sounds in one syllable words?

It works on any board. Whatever displays on your computer that you have connected to the board appears on your board. It does not use any interactive whiteboard software, but you do need to have Quick Time on your computer as it is a Quick Time file. You can download Quick Time for free if it is not on your computer. You can download the preview file on your computer at school if you are concerned about whether it will work. Have you looked at the preview file on the computer you are using now? If you have any more questions, let me know.
