A take home book by Pam Erickson that teaches high frequency and locomotion words. Goes well with a unit on Insects. Meets common core standards for literacy. Makes a great pocket chart activity for whole group use or as a literacy center. Can be used as a matching activity for a science center- match the type of insect with its movement. Be sure to check out my other insect themed math guided reading book, Bugs In A Jar! To print the book back to back- the cover/page six is backed with the blank page/page five. Page two/three is backed with page four/one . To assemble- place the cover page face down (page five is up). Place page two/three face up on top of the cover page. Fold in half and staple along the spine. Enjoy!
