This "I have... Who has...? file contains 3 different games. First, children practice counting by 5s using a clue to find the next number. ("I have 5. Who has 5 more?" "I have 10. Who has 5 more?" etc.) Twenty cards are include before looping back to the beginning.
The second game is mental addition, requiring children to add an amount to a given number to get the next number. ("I have 23. Who has 4 more?" etc.) There are 30 cards before looping back to the beginning.
The third game provides practice counting from 10 to 100 by tens. It is reproduced on red and blue paper and repeats the sequence twice to create 20 cards before looping back to the beginning.
These activities, created by Terry Palmieri (BZTeacher), are great for whole class practice and take only a few minutes to pass out the cards. To create, simply reproduce on heavy paper, cut apart, and laminate (if desired).
