I teach 10th graders and I found this activity too easy for my students. I also was disappointed that the lesson only addressed the number of syllables per line, and not the emphasis at all. I did really like your idea for the assignment accompanying the lesson, but unfortunately I had already done something similar with my students, so I could not use it.
