My morning math/calendar time is one of our favorite times of the day. We do tons of math practice in a fun and engaging way. Here is a resource that I use in my daily math meeting/calendar time which is not only extremely helpful but something my students love doing daily. Learning to skip count (count by 2's, 5's, etc.) is a very important first grade skill. Using this resource students will not only enjoy it, but look forward to it daily. I have posted 5's and 10's and here are my (even) 2's. I also count by (off) twos. Let me know if you are interested in my posting those as well. Enjoy!

I love you idea of the ice cream cones. I was going to borrow the idea and use carrots instead because I have a Bunny theme in my room. But.... I just decided to use a bunny with a speech balloon and she says, "Every bunny loves ice cream!" I will be posting these on my math wall with your other skip counting ice cream cones! Thanks a Bunch!
