If you ever make it a template that is just a black outline and is easier to print out, that would be super helpful as my students would need to trace them and cut them out of brown paper. Printing in color just isn't something I can do on this scale for a project like this. Bummer! Cute idea and I know they'll enjoy making this as part of our writing assignment we do with this book. Thanks so much!

I read the book "If You Give a Dog a Donut" to my reading club students (K4-2 grade). We ate donuts for our snack. Next was our project--Making the dog & donut. The kids just loved making the dog/donut. The pattern was awesome (I just enlarged it to 125%) Thank you!

Hi! There are different pieces you would trace and then put together to make the dog. In all there are 6 spots, nose, head, tail, body, legs (you would need 4 of this piece), donut and donut glaze for a total of 16 pieces that make up the dog. I hope this helps!
