This is a World History activity designed to wrap-up the century at the end of the year. Students are provided a rubric with a research handout to investigate an important person of the past century. They then create a character collage of their person for their classmates to meet and greet on the following day. The matrix for student to gather information on all the people is included, as well as wrap-up questions at the end. It is designed for use in my sophomore World History classes, and has a list of 26 possible people to be investigated. This could easily by used in other classes or with other grades.

I have taught all areas of Social Studies for eight years and English I-III for the past year. My experience ranges from teaching grades 6 through 12, and I have had all levels of classes, including Special Education collaboration and gifted and talented. I have also taught on an advanced curriculum team and honors/advanced classes at the high school level.
