Four page lab on Inclined Planes. Students measure force to pull a mass up an inclined plane. They calculate mechanical advantage, Work, and efficiency. Finally, they have to calculate a "Real world" problem of moving a four wheeler onto a pick-up truck. You make up the numbers here. Note: diagram showing the Giza pyramid is incorrect - the egyptians did use ramps but not this way. We watch "This Old Pyramid" by PBS and it shows how it was really done. But I do discuss this diagram to get the students thinking.
