This unit contains 4 Insect Literacy Centers. They are:
1. Insect ABC Order Pocket Chart Activity- Print the butterflies on cardstock and laminate. Have students put the butterflies in ABC order (some to the 2nd letter) and use the recording sheet to record the answers.
2. Definition Detectives- Use a classroom dictionary to find the insect words and record the definitions.
*Please download the revised version of the centers. There was a spelling error on the Definition Detectives page that has been corrected.
3. Insect Word Sort- Use the printable to sort the words that are insect words and are NOT insect words.
4. Insect Fact and Opinon Pocket Chart Activity- Print the fact and opinion cards on cardstock and laminate. Put the "Fact" and "Opinion" headers at the top of the chart and have students sort the sentences into fact and opinion. Use the recording sheet to record answers.
This is my very first unit to post on Teachers Pay Teachers. Please leave feedback and if you have any questions, let me know!
I'm so sorry that happened! Sometimes I have to restart my printer and then it corrects. If it still does it, I would recommend trying to print it on a different printer (at home or work depending on where you tried).

I like the centers alot and was able to download everything but the response page for ABC order. So I guess my question is...is that page corrupted? I tried downloading it by itself as well and could not get it to print. Thank you
I have teaching experience in PK-2nd grade. I have taught first grade for the last 8 years and love it. I am big on technology and integrate it with my curriculum every time I get a chance.
