This project was created for "The Wave" by Todd Strasser and "The Chocolate War" by Robert Cormier but can be adapted for any book. It includes a Book Club Contract and an outline of the expectations. The rubrics for the final product and behavior as well as the calendar come separately because of their formats. It is easily adaptable for any grade level.

I teach in a New York City Public High School. This year is my sixth year teaching English there. For two years I served as the AVID Coordinator. In addition to teaching, I have served as a Cooperating Teacher for student teachers and a mentor for a new teacher.
