I am deeply sorry that I offended you for posting your inferencing song on my blog. I thought I was giving you proper credit because it had your name at the bottom of the document. Truthfully I downloaded your song for free and the only way I know how to share a document is through google docs which is the venue I used to post it. I am completely new to the whole blogging world and there are so many great resources, yours included. Also there are so many rules that are not talked about so I was thought I was just posting your great idea to share with even more people through my blog. What is the proper way to post other peoples ideas and give them credit? Please know that the thought never crossed my mind to try to take credit for this in any way. It was my understanding that copyright infringement was re-selling it, and since you offered it for free I didn't know. I am truly sorry and the post has been removed. Thank you, Melissa
Hello Melissa! I hope I didn't come across too harsh. I totally understand being new at the blog thing and not knowing how to post things properly. From looking at other blogs, I found that if you want to share something that you love provide a link back to that persons blog or TPT store. If you put it on Google docs, that shows that you own it. You can put it on Google docs for yourself but don't share it. I didn't mind that you put the song on there but the linking wasn't right. I saw that you removed your post. I hated that you did that...you just needed to fix the link. If you still have the document on Google docs, I would appreciate it if you would turn off the sharing feature. Most everything people offer is for personal use only but it's okay to share what you love on your blog. I just want you to know that I'm not offended or hurt. I just couldn't find your email and didn't know how to get in touch with you. I hope that I didn't hurt your feelings. Some things come across harsher in comments than they are really meant to be. Thanks for letting me know! I'm really glad that you like the song and I hope to learn more things from your blog. You sound like a fun teacher!
