This is a project that I use when teaching Inherit the Wind to high school juniors, though it would still work with any high school level.

The project essentially consists of them researching a topic related to the play. I give them several to choose from, though they are free to come up with their own.

Depending on how you wish to do it, this could take a couple of weeks, or up to a month if you mix it with other acticvities.

This includes a rubric for grading the project and for the students to use in preparing their presentations.
