These word family cards can be printed and copied to use in skill groups or literacy centers. They also help with spelling and writing. Each page has 2 word families on it that can be cut apart to make 8 different cards. Once they are laminated the cards can be used over and over again with dry erase markers, crayons, or overhead markers. If you make the cards in sets on different colored cardstock, you can assign each student a different color to easily track who is working and who may need extra help from you. They are great for Kindergarten, first grade and even perhaps second graders who are falling behind!
I have used them for several years and the kids love the pictures.

I have been teaching for going on 13 years now. I have spent most of that time teaching first graders. I recently moved to Kindergarten & I love it! I am a very silly and creative person. I always want to do great things in my classroom. I love to find ways to create shortcuts that save me $ and time in the classroom. Most of my items were created for that reason.
