I can't wait to share some smores and sit around my fake campfire with this Instant math inspired set! I think it will be the perfect way to teach about part-part-total boxes and missing addends. This packet has 5 activities and an extra creatable for differentiated instruction. There is a worksheet attached. Wouldn't this also make a cute interactive bulletin board? I love the idea for answering a card for an ingredient to a s'more! I can't wait to use this with my students! I think I will plan to do it whole group first, w/building a s'more, then the kids can do it in a center. I can't wait until we get to the lesson in Everyday Math with the part-part-whole boxes.

I am a 2nd grade teacher in Kansas. I spend my time teaching, blogging, creating lessons and coaching middle school volleyball. This is my 10th year of teaching!
