This webquest I use as a way to either introduce or review the parts of eukaryotic cells vs. prokaryotic cells with my biology classes. It is a good overview of the cell and the may different organelles within (nucleus, ribosomes, Golgi aparatus, endoplasmic reticulum, etc...).
Students will visit the website that is listed in the directions of the handout. From there, they simply read along and follow the directions on screen as well as the directions of the handout. A compuer with access to the internet is needed to complete this lesson. I have provided an answer key as well.
This is a nice way to review parts of the cell without simply lecturing students about the organelles and their functions.
Because this is in Adobe format, you won't have to worry about formatting errors that can occur when you download and transfer Word documents.
