This download contains two powerpoints on intermolecular forces. The first distinguishes between intra- and intermolecular forces, and explains London dispersion, dipole-dipole, and hydrogen forces. The second discusses how these molecular interactions give rise to properties we can readily observe or measure. Includes a discussion of the unique properties of water.
This is appropriate for an introductory or advanced chemistry course, and also biology, as it explains the chemical interactions that make life possible.
The file is compressed (.zip), and contains two powerpoint (.ppt) files.
