This three part Into the Wild unit plan includes an activity pack, a vocabulary pack, and a quiz pack. All packs are composed of handouts that can be copied and passed out to students. The activity pack contains chapter handouts that cover themes, characterization, figurative language, and more. The vocabulary pack contains chapter handouts that utilize context clues to help students learn difficult words. The quiz pack contains chapter quiz handouts for all chapters (each handout covers two chapters). The quizzes are composed of a vocabulary section and three short-answer questions for each chapter. This Into the Wild lesson plan is filled with handouts for you to reproduce and use immediately with your students. After several years of teaching with this plan, I know my students reacted to it well and now I hope this plan of 40+ pages also helps you and your students review Krakauer's novel. I'm selling it here for cheap compared to the usual price for extensive unit plans because there just aren't any good Into the Wild unit plans out there for us teachers. Hope it helps.
