This powerpoint was created with Microsoft Office 2010. There are 18 slides, large, clear font, and lots of graphics. This presentation is designed to introduce and reinforce understanding of personification. There is a clear definition with an illustration. What follows are many illustrations of personification using graphics. There are three poems by Sharon Hendricks, written for children. Each poem has an accompanying activity. There are additional activities that require the students to both draw and write their own personification(s). My 5th grade niece and 2nd grade niece say that this presentation is "Cool!" Thank you for your consideration.
