This slideshow is an excellent introduction to basic division skills and concepts for 3rd and 4th graders or any child who needs review. The slideshow includes division vocabulary, extensive examples, and strategies such as repeated subtractions and sharing equally. Slides also help students understand and know the relationship between multiplication and division.

I am currently a Talent Development Teacher for my district. I work to accelerate and challenge gifted students in grades K-5. Through close relationships and careful planning and collaboration with their classroom teachers, I am able to effectively meet the needs of these high ability learners. Before taking on this unique role, I taught 3rd grade for four and a half years. Immediately after graduating college, I spent nearly two years working with special needs students.
