This PowerPoint serves as a good introduction to the Order of Operations in elementary school. This was originally created to be used with 3rd graders and does not include exponents.It includes plenty of practice problems and catchy song lyrics to help students remember the Order of Operations.

I am currently a Talent Development Teacher for my district. I work to accelerate and challenge gifted students in grades K-5. Through close relationships and careful planning and collaboration with their classroom teachers, I am able to effectively meet the needs of these high ability learners. Before taking on this unique role, I taught 3rd grade for four and a half years. Immediately after graduating college, I spent nearly two years working with special needs students.
