The activities in this 7 page notebook lesson are designed to be used as a review at the end of a unit on inventors and inventions. The inventors and inventions used in this lesson are from the Georgia 5th grade social studies standards. Slides include matching the inventor to invention and year, match the description to the correct inventor, a multiple-choice quiz, a time-line with links to internet information, and a creative writing activity with word bank.

Page 1 asks students to match an inventor with their invention and the year of the invention. This includes Henry Ford, Benjamin Franklin, the Wright Brothers, Thomas Edison, and Alexander Graham Bell.
Page 2 has the students match a photo of each of these inventors to a description of something they invented.
Page 3 begins a 7 question multiple choice quiz about the inventors.
Page 4 students can click on various spots on a timeline and it will take them to an internet page (including Time for Kids and Discovery Kids) that tells them more about a specific inventor. The last spot on the timeline will take students to an internet page about modern inventions.
Page 5 is a writing activity with an interactive word bank (related to the inventors and their inventions)
