Use this investigation to guide your discussion or presentation of Quadratic Functions. Students begin by comparing and contrasting the graphs of linear and quadratic functions. Then, they identify the key parts of a quadratic graph (parabola). Third, they identify the parts of a quadratic equations written in standard form. Lastly, they practice FOILing, writing Quadratic equations in standard form and determining if the graph has a minimum or maximum value. An excellent way to enhance student's understanding!
