This video is quite long, but offers an extensive history of the history of the Islamic Empire. Short on religious history though.
I always read my viewing guides aloud with my students before we watch the video, so that they know what to look/listen for.

Are you selling the video or a guide for students to complete as they watch. When I downloaded the sample a cover of the video appeared. I am interested in a viewing guide.

I created most of my viewing guides while home on maternity leave. They are designed strictly as on task activities NOT higher level thinking. I have some additional assignments posted, but please take this into consideration when downloading a viewing guide. I only make 30 cents each off them, but I am learning a lot and will have them ready for me to go back the classroom. =) After teaching Middle School for 6 years, I am taking a break to teach Job Corps students resume skills, employment skills and preparing them for their driving tests. In Middle School: I taught US HISTORY and Government for 5 years to 8th graders. I also taught one year of WORLD GEOGRAPHY to 6th graders. 5 of those years I also taught at least one READING ENRICHMENT class.
