The Island of the Blue Dolphins is a 65 page comprehensive and integrated novel study guide. The guide is presented chapter-by-chapter and includes the following distinct sections: Vocabulary, Comprehension Questions (including many higher-level thinking questions); and Extension Activities. Just finished using this with my home schooled 5th graders. It was put together very well and as comprehensive as I could possibly want it to be. I will be back to get more of your novel studies!

I have not yet had a chance to use this, but I think it is written in a great format that can support students working independently. I like the pred-during-post format that will enable students to activly read the text.
