Take your calendar time to a whole new level with this calendar kit! This kit was designed with Kindergarten students in mind, but with the programmable pages at the end of the packet, you could easily adapt it for first grade as well.
Instructions are included for each month of this pack, and the skills progress as the year goes on. Not ready for more skills when the month is over? Just use the programmable pages at the end of the packet and repeat the skills from that month again by adding typing in the month, or use a variety of pages.

I know you can import PDFs using the Promethean software. That is what I do. I'm not sure if you can do that with SMART boards. Try asking your tech person at your school. S/he could probably help you out!!

Thanks for your reply. I just tried it at home on my new mac using preview and it printed fine. I printed at school on Friday and had the problem. I fortunately have MLK day off, so I won't get to try again at school until Tuesday. I'll try downloading a newer version of adobe and keep you posted. Thanks!

Hello! I love these calendar pages! I just ordered and printed all the pages but I am having a problem. On most of the daily journal pages for each month, there are black boxes covering up parts of the pages making the pages unusable. When I do a print preview those boxes are not there. Any suggestions?

I wonder if you are opening it up in PREVIEW? Are you using a mac? Make sure that you open with and print from Adobe. If that's not the case try updating your Adobe. If that still doesn't help, try contact the tpt help desk - they have more experience with the technical glitches! I promise though, there are no black boxes on the pages :) Let me know if you still can't get it to work after you try those options as well as contacting tpt. :)

HI there! I purchased your awesome packet, but I can't save it to my computer. Each time I download it, it's prompting me to "sign" the document before saving as a pdf. I contacted TPT, but after a few attempts, they couldn't resolve the issue and suggested I contact you directly. They thought maybe you had this feature included purposefully for copyright and would be able to give me directions. Do you have any idea why this is happening? I love the resource and want to be able to use it! :-) I haven't ever encountered this on any of my previous TPT purchases (and I always save the same way, as a pdf). Thank you! I'm anxious to get started!

Hi! I am interested in purchasing the Daily Calendar book. I teach in a Dual Immersion program in Spanish. I would have to translate the pages into Spanish for my students to use. I love what I can see in the thumbnails! I was wondering if each child has their own packet that they work on each day or if you use this as a whole group? I am looking for something to make all students responsible for the learning during calendar time and find that having 1 child at a time do it, isn't working. Thanks!

I have each child work on their own page each day. They all have binders with the month page, the weather tracker, and daily journal pages (enough for each day in the month). You could laminate the page as well and have them use a dry erase marker if copying is an issue. The children love calendar time and they are all engaged every day!

There is the actual calendar page, a weather tracker page, and the daily pages. A day's worth of data/math skills is one page. The packet was designed with Kindergarten in mind, but the pages at the end of the packet are programmable, so you might start with the skills for later in the year (for K) for your firsties. You would count the number of days that you are in school that month. You wouldn't need pages for the days that you are not in school. There is one calendar page, one weather tracker page, and then the daily journal pages. Only copy the number of daily journal papers that you would use in a month ;)

I'm not quite sure I understand your question. Are you not able to see the images on the download? Try upgrading your PDF viewer. You will need newer than 9.0. Also, if you are using a MAC, you may be opening it in preview. Make sure you open it in Adobe. The songs are all available on my blog (the ones that I have published).

I LOVE this calendar book!!!! Can't wait to start using it. My only problem was when I printed it, it was missing some "e"s. Everywhere you used the font that you used for the title "It's Calendar Time!", it didn't print the letter e. ??? Did anyone else have this problem? Any ideas as to how I can fix it? Someone else did have that problem! It printed fine for me and others.... It is so weird! I suggested that they open a trouble ticket at support.teacherspayteachers.com. I haven't heard back from her,so she must have resolved the problem. Make sure that you have the newest adobe reader downloaded and all of your printer drivers are updated too. Please let me know if you figure it out.

The pages are the same each day for one entire month. The numbers that you fill in each day will change based on the number of the day. When you have the routine of the same page each day, calendar time will run much more smoothly and quickly.

As long as you have an adobe reader, you can simply type the month on each page. The skills on the pages remain the same, but you can type in the month for each. For example if you find that your students are struggling with the skills on the January page and still need a bit of practice, you can "re-do" that page in February. Just use the programmable pages and type in March on the February page. Does that make sense?

I just purchased the calendar set and I LOVE IT! Now, my question. Is there a way to convert your pages to my promethean board so I can project the page for teacher modeling? In your Activ Inspire software, go to File -> import -> import pdf. I THINK that's the right sequence. I don't have my school computer on with the program. It will ask you if you want to open it in the current file or a new file. Open it in a new file, and you can just drag the pages that you need over to your calendar file. Does that make sense? :)
